ANTUMBRA, PENUMBRA AND UMBRA:
THREE NEW SINGLES ON SHADOWS
During a lunar eclipse shadows are cast. These are called Umbra, Penumbra and Antumbra. This natural phenomenon inspired me to release three new compositions revolving around shadows: Umbra, Penumbra and Antumbra. Conceived as a theme and variations, these three pieces are closely related yet they are quite different. I loved approaching the creation of the music in this way as this how I see the relationship between these gradients of shadows.
